Mill Cottage offers excellent self catering accommodation in the Outdoor Capital UK Fort William area for up to 12 guests in 3 double and 2 twin bedrooms.


Perfectly situated between Fort William and Glencoe, close to the Corran ferry.  Mill Cottage is a great place to stay, relax and unwind in a beautiful Highland environment just fifteen minutes from Ben Nevis, Aonach Mor and Glencoe ski resort and the much photographed castle Stalker.


Perfect for couples, large groups or families. The original croft dates back to 1745 and was used to Mill flour for the local area. The mill stone can still be seen at the entrance to the cottage.  Mill Cottage is situated on the shores of Loch Linnhe, alongside the river Righ which flows to the Loch via waterfall alongside Mill Cottage.


The river and waterfall give a wonderful evening backdrop to a family barbecue or meal served in the dining room. An abundance of wildlife awaits with red squirrels (don’t tell the grey’s) and Pine Martens (a type of large stoat). Seals are often seen feeding just off the beach during evening walks. Porpoise sightings are also common navigating the Corran narrows during evening beach walks.


Don’t forget your fishing rod, as Mackerel are in abundance June - Sept and there are Mussels galore, within easy reach on local rocks at low tide, (White wine and boiled potatoes from Co-Op in Ballachulish, pronounced BALAHULISH).


Unfortunately not many haggis (we think the tourists eat most of them!!!!!)
